Arboretum Activity
The weather was warm and the birds were out on Saturday. I didn't even have to leave the Acton Arboretum parking lot to see dozens of birds. Highlights included a Red Bellied Woodpecker, a dozen or so Cedar Waxwings, some House Finches, and a great look at a Pileated.
On Sunday, we saw a couple of ducks while driving on Rt. 2 near Emerson. After some research, I ID'd them as common mergansers.
