Captain Sargent

 Entered the back side of Captain Sargent and found a lot of mallards and 4-6 green-winged teals.

 A couple of weeks ago I spotted a yellow belly sapsucker at Ice House Pond.  I don't see them often so it is worth a belated mention.

Well, I was wrong about the green-winged teals.  They are still there.  I saw two pairs today, along with two pairs of hooded mergansers.

Plenty of dark-eyed juncos around as well.

The green-winged teals, which had been hanging around, seem to be gone.  But the first hooded merganser has shown up.  I only saw the one, but there are probably others around.
