Cave Creek

 Started this morning at Jewel of the Creek Preserve.  Couldn't identify everything I saw, but I am pretty confident of the following.

In Mark and Rachelle's backyard:

Northern Shoveler

 I'm 99% sure I saw a Northern Shoveler at the Ice House Pond this morning

First time I've seen one and I can't find any recent sightings, but the bill and colors are pretty clear.

New Years

 Ended 2022 at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence.  The ducks were kind of disappointing, with just some buffleheads and gulls.

But on the way to the water, we did great looks at both some Carolina wrens and White-throated sparrows.

Started 2023 at Ice House Pond with five beautiful Hooded Mergansers.
