Hagerland Again

Another trip to Hagerland, another great view of a Green Heron

Some ducks I couldn't identify, plenty of Phoebes, and a fly over by a kingfisher.

Hagerland

Went over to Hagerland mid-morning.  Two Green Herons,

two Red Shouldered Hawks (one seen, one heard),

and some flycathers, though hard to tell what kind.  Some seemed to have a bit of green.  Least flycatcher?  I don't know.  ebird reports for August were limited to Phoebes and Peewees.

Maine

Ran into a burst of warblers at the Maine house.

Two positive ID's were the blue headed vireo (sound ID'd)

And the black throated green (pretty unmistakable)

There there were some others that we were least sure about.  Our best guess is the Blackburnian, which has a subdued look in the fall
