Good Day at Jenks

Started with a Great Blue Heron, tracked down and identified a Ruby Crowned Kinglet




Then saw our first warbler of the season, a Palm Warbler.  It took a while to catch a glimpse of his red head, but we did.



On the way out had a long, close-up look at a blue bird.

Birding 2019

Another year, another birding season.


Stopped by Jenks to see whats up (though its early).  Saw that standard cardinals and blue jays, etc.  But then heard a unusual call and tracked down a Carolina Wren.  Excellent song.





And just some misc. catch ups... saw some parrots while in Miami with Danno and saw black and white warblers in San Diego while there for work.  Both of these trips were in March.
